How Paraguay Now sources facts, uses AI, and handles conflicts of interest and corrections.
This policy explains how Paraguay Now is reported, sourced, and corrected. It applies to every guide on the site, in every language.
Sources
Wherever a claim is checkable against a primary source, we cite one: the relevant government agency (immigration, tax, municipal), an official fee schedule, a law or resolution, or a first-hand visit, receipt, or document. When a fact comes from lived experience rather than an official document, we say so rather than dressing it up as an official rule.
Prices, budgets, and rankings follow the rules in our methodology page: dated, sampled, and never presented as more precise than the underlying data allows.
Use of AI
AI tools help us draft structure, compare language versions, catch inconsistencies, and summarize sources that have already been verified by a person. AI is not used to invent experiences, prices, quotes, opening hours, authorship, or legal or tax conclusions. Every page assisted by AI in its drafting or translation receives a named human review before publication.
Anonymization
Where we reference real documents, receipts, or individual cases to illustrate a process, identifying details (names, ID numbers, exact addresses) are removed or altered unless the person involved has agreed to be named.
Conflicts of interest
Some guides link to external resources for readers who want to go further on residency or real estate. Any such link never changes what we publish, which facts we include, or how an error gets corrected. We do not present a single option as the only one available when better alternatives exist for the reader's situation.
Translations
A translated page is not published as a literal transposition of the English version. Institutions, currency conventions, and locally relevant questions are adapted, and translated pages carry the same factual standard as the source version, not a lighter one.
Corrections
